Made from the finest materials and hand wound to Sonic Perfection. The Magic Strat pickup set is remarkable! At least thats what's the latest talk in town is. Based on 1950's specs. The pickup set includes 3 single coil Strat style pickups. 50's style staggered magnetic poles. Low E .671 / A .671 / D .710 / G .710 / B .630 / High E .650 and Wide Alnico 5 magnets (.195). You can buy them individually or as a complete set. Plastic Black, White or Cream covers are included.
The Magic Strat pickup is pure magic. Just put it in your guitar and you'll see or... rather hear why it's called the "Magic Strat" pickup. Known for it's clear, bell like silky tone. Its warm, sweet and moody.
The Standard Magic Strat pickups comes wound to 1950's specifications with staggered .195 Alnico V pole magnets, 42 AWG Plain Enamel copper wire, vintage black and white stranded cloth covered wire, stainless steel mounting screws and springs.
Of course you can have each pickup custom designed to your specification. There's no limit! You can have staggered pickup poles or all one height. You have a choice of Alnico II, III and V magnets and you can choose to have .185 or .195 pole piece widths. 42 and 43 Plain Enamel and or Full Formvar copper wire. You could even opt out of having your middle pickup reverse wound. Its up to and your imagination.
The Super 7114mg Magic Strat Combo
An amazingly diverse combination of pickups for Stratocasters with an HSS (Humbucker, Single Coil, Single Coil) pickup configuration. First up in this combination is the Super 7114mg Humbucker pickup. Gnarly, Clear and Biting. It's the ultimate lead pickup. The middle pickup is Reverse Wound and perfectly balanced with both the bridge pickup and the neck position Lipstick pickups. It has the right amount of Bell Like Bouncy Clarity. Bright and Centered. The Sound Laboratories neck position Lipstick Pickup is pure mood. Awesome for taking "that solo!" Wound to "Humbuck" when both the middle and the neck selector is engaged.
Using the standard Strat 5 way pickup selector switch your tonal palette is almost limitless. In switch selector position 1 the Super 7114mg is engaged and Powerful! Position 2; is a nasaly Humbucked Funk Squonk Rhythm #1, Position 3; think Jimi with a Terrific Bounce. Selector position 4; nasaly Humbucked Funk Squonk #2 and is eeper than nasaly Humbucked Funk Squonk Rhythm #1 position. And finally the complete magical package, The Sound Laboratories Lipstick Pickup. Warm, sweet and moody designed to delight the biggest grouch!

Choices and Lots of Em'
There are so many choices when it comes to Stratocaster pickup configurations. Some folks love when the middle pickup is not reverse wound. Some feel it breaks with Strat tradition to have a Humbucker. Some like them really bright other folks want a bite. A Sound Laboratory tradition is listening to what the musician wants, from there we can make you a pickup you'll love or your money back! Thats right, you shouldn't have to live with something that doesn't inspire you. Additionally you don't have to have an accurate description. Your description can as simple as, "I love David Gilmour and wish I could also sound like The Edge." As Josh says at JHS "more is better" so I'll have some questions for you.
The return policy is this: You have 10 business days to install and play your instrument. If the pickup/s does nothing for you take em' out and send it back. That simple! Only you have to pay for shipping and make sure the pickups are absolutely undamaged.
