The Magic Strat "JH" Pickup Set
It usually starts with a great idea, sometimes... necessity. Jimi Hendrix flipped his right-handed Stratocaster guitar around and re-strung it to accommodate for his left handed playing technique. The one thing he could not flip were pickup magnet heights and if he eventually managed to turn the pickups around the wiring would be a bit wonky.
The Magic Strat "JH" pickup set is a hand wound direct replacement for your right handed Strat style guitar. Pop em' in, solder them up and off to sonics heights explored by the greats. Check out the tone in the video below. Normally we would do a pristine recording for demonstration using a Neve 1073 Mic pre into a Pro tools rig but nothing's better then Scott Weis' live performance at Water Wheel Guitars in Milford, PA I was blown away by sound and his playing. This is Scott going through a Twin Reverb. No pedals, no effects other than a little on-board amplifier reverb. I am recording the action with my iPhone XR.
